Pre-Primary Convention Delegate Elections
One of the provisions of the primary process in NM is the pre-primary convention to endorse candidates for the primary ballot.
The 2026 state pre-primary convention will be held on March 7 – at the Inn of the Mountain Gods, Mescalero NM
It’s an opportunity to meet up with Democrats from around the state
Delegates to the convention are elected at the ward level. To determine your ward, click here.
If you plan to vote in your ward’s election and have moved into the ward in the past few months, please bring verification of your new address to demonstrate you are eligible to vote in the ward’s election.
