DPSFC’s Fall Educational Series starts Sept. 10 with a presentation on “Modernizing the State Legislature” by attorney Cliff Rees, from 6-7:30 p.m. at 1420 Cerrillos Rd.
The session will focus on ways to increase the Legislature’s “capacity to legislate” to better address:

the increasingly complex issues faced by New Mexico

improve services to constituents.

increase oversight of the executive branch

increase transparency so legislators, staff and the public can better understand and participate in the legislative process.
